What’s on: Weetbix kids TRYathlon

Morning sunners, we are looking at another perfect day today with a little cloud this morning to keep the tryathletes cool as they start another Weetbix Tryathlong this morning at the event's new home in the bay, Arataki Park in the Mount.

The TRYathalon starts 9am with a 50m-200m swim at Baywave Aquatic Centre, followed by a 4km-8km cycle through the streets of Arataki, and finishes with a 1.5km run around Arataki Park. Distances vary depending on age group.

Finishers will receive medals from local athletes, NZ National Women's Rugby Sevens player Sarah Goss and Olympic medallist Luuka Jones.

The cruise ship Crystal Harmony arrived in port this morning from Nuku'alofa and is expected to departs at 6.15pm for Auckland.
