Anyone reading this story has looked up at the night sky in awe of the beauty that it contains at one time or another.
Stars, lights, clouds, and complete darkness - they all co-mingle to create a picture out of this world.
Two Tauranga photographers are taking their passion for taking photos at night – also known as astrophotography – and sharing their skill and knowledge with the rest of the community.
Amit Kamble and Jack Burden are offering a free astrophotography workshop on June 23 and 24 and 'will be going over the basics”.

'Feel free to come along and don't forget to bring along some spare change, as we will be collecting donations of which 100 per cent will go to Tauranga Food Bank,” says Amit.
People wanting to take part should meet at The Mount at 7pm on June 23.
More information about the workshops can be found here.
