Weather in a minute with Rosalie

Saturday August 5, 2017 from Sun Live on Vimeo.

The weather forecast is looking good for getting outdoors today. We're expecting a fine day with light winds.

It's still winter out there so make sure you stay warm. It's a three-clothing-layer day with a high of 15 and an overnight low of 7 degrees predicted.

This day in NZ history in 1988 the Cartwright Report was published which condemned a cancer treatment experiment and proposed radical new measures to ensure patients' rights, including the establishment of a National Cervical Screening Programme.

Check out what's on today which includes a Guinness Record attempt at the largest cheerleading pyramid, Art in the Park at the Mount and many other activities.

Have a great day!
