Bay of Plenty rugby coaches will learn how to best tackle their team at a Black Ferns workshop.
Black Ferns coaches Wesley Clarke and Grant Keenan will facilitate a leadership workshop highlighting the Black Ferns road to success at this year's Women's Rugby World Cup ahead of the Mitre 10 Farah Palmer Cup Championship Final.
Bay of Plenty Rugby Union's Community Coach Development Officer Kyle McLean says the union is committed to supporting and providing opportunities for development for their coaches.
'Wes and Grant have been in the coaching game for a number of years, culminating in coaching the Blacks Ferns to win the World Cup this year in Ireland.” Coaches will also have the honour to hear form Dr Farah Palmer presenting around Leadership.
'Farah is not only an absolute legend of the game but also an inspiration to all leaders. They all have a great story to tell and all coaches or people in leadership positions would be silly to miss this opportunity,” says Kyle.
Following the workshop, coaches will be invited to watch the Bay of Plenty Volcanix play in the Mitre 10 Cup Farah Palmer Cup Championship Final against Otago at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui.
