If you wondering what do to today, why not check out the Big Band Bonanza at the Tauranga Waterfront Park.
From 10am to 2pm, the Jazz Festival's 'two Big Bands” will entertain you as the music festival prepares for its final day of performances.
People are invited to bring their own picnic or purchase food and beverages from the food stalls.
There'll also be fun for the kids with a bouncy castle and amusement rides.
Auckland's Queen City Big Band is a 22-piece band known for its powerful and exciting brass, sax and rhythm sections combined with outstanding vocalists.
The RNZAF Jazz Orchestra present an homage to the Golden Era of Big Band.
The orchestra will play selections from Duke Ellington to Glenn Miller as well as arrangements penned by musicians from within its ranks including, Lex French's Ellington inspired adaptation of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet.
