Cloudy water nothing to worry about

Have you noticed your water's been looking a little cloudy lately?

Tauranga City Council says it's nothing to worry about.

'It's just bubbles caused by trapped air, which sometimes happens after we repair water mains,” says a post on the council's Facebook page.

'The water is perfectly safe to drink.

'To check if the water is cloudy due to air, fill a glass with cold water and allow it to stand for a couple of minutes.”

Council says the air bubbles should disappear and clear from the bottom of the glass upwards.

A bit tongue in cheek but I ask the question, does Council make allowances for the "bulked" up water when it comes to invoice time?I make enough bubbles of my own without being charged $1.89 per cubic metre for Council bubbles 'n water :-)Crikey, next thing we'll be paying for sunshine.
