Peacefully after a long illness, at Glynavon Rest home, Te Puke on Sunday 20 May 2018. Aged 85 years.

Loved wife of the late Neil. Mother and mother-in-law of Jan & Laurie Callender, Steven, Brenda and partner Ian Arms. Treasured ‘Granma Jo' to her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Cherished youngest daughter of the late Alex and Mary Hunter, treasured sister to Patricia (Pat) French, Bill Hunter and Stuart Hunter (all deceased). Sister-in-law to Voi Hunter (Australia), Margaret Lacy (Nelson) and Anna Hunter (Auckland). Loving and special aunt to all her nieces, nephews and their families.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of CHT Glynavon Rest Home, Te Puke for the wonderful care given to Jo while she was there.

According to Jo's wishes, a private service has been held.
