Police are appealing for information about a robbery at Subway on Cameron Road.

Police were called to the Subway store near 12th Ave just before 9pm.

A police spokesperson says a man walked into the store and demanded money from a worker.

After being handed some money, the police spokesperson says the offender fled in a vehicle.

"A man has entered the store, threatened the staff member and demanded cash from the till before fleeing in a vehicle.

"Police located the vehicle shortly after the robbery and are following positive lines of enquiries to locate the offender."
