UPDATED: 3.05pm. The Waihi Road crash today involved a car coming down the hill that had its suspension collapse as it was going round the bend - causing it to flip, says a resident.

'People slide down that hill,” says the resident. 'It's a 50km/h zone and people are doing 80 round that corner. They should put a speed camera there.”
