Delays are affecting drivers on Hewletts Road following a break-down of a truck.
The truck has broken down near the Jean Batten Drive intersection.
A photo sent in by a SunLive reader shows the truck blocking two lanes of the road.

SO, why did it take so long to MOVE it?

Get a HVR truck in, disconnect the driveshaft and TOW it off the intersection - given that its the Mount the HVR truck should have been there in 15 minutes IF the road authorities are on the ball, and as for the driveshaft - 5 minutes !!!!
