A crash on the Waipapa River Bridge at the bottom of the flying mile closed a section of State Highway 2 for three hours during peak hour this morning.
The crash between a car and a truck trailer just before 6.30am closed the section of highway just north of Omokoroa until 9.45am today.

The silver car was travelling south on State Highway Two near Omokoroa when it was involved in a crash with a truck trailer.
