What’s on? Winter Nights, Winter Lights

Good morning SunLive readers and another happy Saturday.

We're back to a wet, soppy weekend, with cloudy periods today, occasional showers and northeasterlies picking up - and tomorrow the rain is even heavier.

Despite it, there's still a few of you out there who are proving some events are worth it, no matter the weather.

Winter Nights Winter Lights has returned to Tauranga for another year.

If you've never been before you definitely ought to check it out. It's a fantastic display of everything Tauranga is good at; arts, entertainment, music and fun.

The show features four nights worth of an array of lighting installations and entertainment, ranging from Sweep by Alexandra Heaney, LED drummers from Fuse Drumming, Argentinian Tango, face painting and more.

In addition three mysterious creatures will also be roaming the CBD.

Plenty of people have already been to the show, which began last night and ends Monday, but don't fret if you haven't been yet.

The show is running every night from 6pm-10pm.

And if you're not so much of a night owl or you're looking for something to fill out the rest of your day, then make sure to check out our What's On listings below.
