Te Puke's all-conquering Tai Mitchell junior rugby team has provided the bulk of the Bay of Plenty Roller Mills tournament squad, named by coaches Steve Miln and Phill O'Reilly.
The 24 intermediate school-age players chosen will represent the Bay at the annual Northern Roller Mills Tournament in Cambridge, from Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14 October.
Fifteen of the squad come from the Te Puke team, which blew away Tauranga West 41-12 in the Tai Mitchell tournament final earlier this month.
Tauranga East supply the next highest contingent with four.
A Wasps Development team of players the coaches see as potential 2019 Roller Mills representatives has also been selected.
The Wasps side will play two games against the King Country and Thames Valley Roller Mills teams on Sunday 9 September and Sunday 23 September.
