18/01/1933. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Somervale Rest Home on 4 August 2018. Dearly beloved husband of Aafke for 59 years. Cherished father, father in law and friend of Lance and Lisa, Ruth and Dave, Michael and Pauline, Alun, Robert and Kim.

Treasured Dan Dan of Ella, Maddie and Liam Drake, Nick, Matt and Laura Stanley, Shakira and Marcus Drake, Kodi, Emma and Mya Ruwhiu and Great Grandad to Beir and Koia. Best mate of Benge (dog).

Respected brother, brother in law and friend to Luit and Jan, Derek, Alan, Dianne and families.
