Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly spotted with a knife in the Tauranga Central Business District.
Police received calls of a man carrying knife at about 5pm on Thursday, says a police spokesperson.
'Police are making enquiries following reports of a man with a knife on Willow Street.”
No one was reported to have been injured.
People with information or who see suspicious activity, should report it to their nearest police station.
Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 line.
