A car has rolled following a crash near Greerton.

SunLive photographer Cameron Avery says the car has rolled on Maleme Street.

“Firefighters are here at the moment and the car is now on its side.

“It’s happened about halfway down the street, near to Oropi. Traffic is being redirected in the area.”

The accident is one of many to have occurred this afternoon with emergency services attending jobs throughout the region.

Earlier this afternoon a seven-car crash took place on the Maungatapu Bridge.

Police say initial reports show no one sustained any serious injuries in the crash, which shut down the road for a short period of time.

SunLive understands police are also in attendance of another crash on State Highway 33 near Paengaroa, where another vehicle has rolled.

Police have been contacted and we will update the story soon.
