While the Singh CC sits astride the Western Bay of Plenty Reserve Grade standings, they have a big challenge on their hands this Saturday November 24 2018 at Pemberton Park.

Standing in the way of the Singh XI, continuing their unbeaten season start, is the Greerton Sikh XI who won the Western Bay Reserve First Round title nearly twelve months ago.

Both teams have a batsman apiece with red-hot form this season. Singh XI's Amrit Singh leads the Reserve runs tally with 217 runs, with a best of 133, while Greerton Sikh batsman Lovely Sandhu has a highest score of 110 in his sides scorebook.

Mount Maunganui will be chasing back to back wins after upsetting second placed Cadets last week. They should have a good battle with R&A Sangha, at Blake Park, with both sides having won the Baywide Reserve Grade prize of the McNaughton Trophy in recent seasons.

Greerton sit just inside the top four and will be up for the challenge, when they meet defending Reserve Grade champions Te Puke, at Te Puke headquarters at the Te Puke Domain. Aquinas College and Tauranga Boys College will go head to head in a secondary school derby on the grass at Fergusson Park.

The form guide suggests that current B Grade titleholders Greerton should be too strong for Albion. However the Albion boys have posted a couple of very big scores and have been unlucky to have not posted more than a solitary win since season start.

Sitting alongside Greerton at the top of the standings, is Papamoa Wanderers, who will square off with Cadets in what could be a close fought contest. Papamoa Tangaroa will be looking to bounce back from last weekend's loss to Greerton, when they play the Singh CC at Gordon Spratt Reserve.

Tauranga Boys College and Grasshoppers meet at Fergusson three, with PapaOMA's hosting Mount Maunganui at Alice Johnson Reserve in Papamoa.
