BOP Lotto players win big

Christmas has come early for Lotto players in the Bay of Plenty as three players won Second Division and one lucky player from Waihi winning $500,000 in the live draw.

Fourteen lucky Lotto players each won $18,757 with Lotto Second Division in Saturday night's live draw.

Two lucky players from Wellington and Bay of Plenty have an extra reason to celebrate after also winning Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $27,173.

The winning tickets were sold at Miramar Lotto and Gift Shop in Wellington and on MyLotto to a player from the Bay of Plenty.

The winning First Division ticket was sold at New World Waihi.

In a statement released by Lotto NZ, it says anyone who brought their ticket from any of the above winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at MyLotto.co.nz or through the Lotto NZ App.

'Lotto New Zealand's Christmas promotion is now on.

'All Lotto Triple Dip tickets bought between Sunday December 9 and 7.30pm on Saturday December 29 are in the draw to win over 400 extra prizes, including $1 million cash, ten Ford Mustangs and 400 prizes of $5,000 cash.”
