Roading delays are expected today as road works are taking place on State Highway 2.
The stretch of SH2 to Athenree at Kauri Point Road in both directions, will be under Stop/Go traffic management from 6am until 3pm.
According to the New Zealand Transport Agency, delays will be expected.
'Stop/Go traffic management with a 30/km temporary speed limit will be in place.
'Monday December 17 will have a temporary speed limit over the new seal.
'Please use care through this site.”

we have just come through this shambles managing to now need a new windscreen, these so called roading staff should be fired as they obviously don't have a clue, the vehicles were doing the rolling taking all the stones with them, we noticed brand new cars crawling so as not to damage their pride and joy,the stones are being carried for miles,
