In his 87th year, passed away on 27 December 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor and caring father of Douglas, Peter, Susan and Julie-Anne. Loyal husband to Judy. Will be deeply missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A cremation service for George will be held at Tauranga Park 383 Pyes Pa Road, Tauranga on Thursday 3 January at 1.30pm. A memorial service to celebrate George's life will take place at 1.00pm on Monday 7 January at The Maritime Room, Corner Quay and Hobson Streets, Viaduct Harbour, Auckland.
