State Highway 36, on Hamurana Road, Rotorua, will be closed tomorrow morning for a scene examination following the fatal crash on January 29.
The portion of Hamurana Road near Gloucester Road will be closed from 7:30am for around three hours.
"There will be traffic management in place but motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and expect delays," says a police spokesperson.
"Motorists are thanked in advance for their patience."
