Enquiries are still ongoing following a crash that occurred on State Highway 5 near Rotorua.

Emergency services were called to the scene near Harwoods Road at around 9.50am, on Saturday morning.

A police spokesperson says it was a two-vehicle crash.

'Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.

'The road reopened about 2.35pm.”
