Tauranga residents can expect a mixed bag of weather this Easter weekend.
A MetService spokesperson says the weekend starts off as fine, but it will deteriorate on Sunday and Monday.
'On Friday, we still have a ridge of high pressure over the country, so it's looking fine over the start of the weekend.”
A front is set to move over the country on Saturday, and showers are expected on Sunday and Monday.
Although the rain sets in for latter part of the weekend, temperatures will remain warm during the day.
'The weekend is forecast for highs of 20 degrees, and overnight lows are expected to be between 10 and 12 degrees.”
