Still missing Tga sisters

Two Tauranga sisters last seen on Sunday night, June 28, are still missing.
Concern has been mounting for the two Welcome Bay girls, aged eight and 12, who have not been seen since about 7pm, June 28. They are eight-year-old Tahani Grewal also known as Koru, and 12-year-old Korutaiheke Robin Tai.

Koru is described as Maori, 140cm tall and has brown hair, brown eyes and solid build.
She was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, black T- shirt and black basket ball shoes, one of which had a white shoe lace.
Police say she was also wearing a greenstone necklace, a plastic bracelet on her wrist and is described as looking older than her age, possibly 16 – 17.
Eight-year Tahani is described as Maori/Pakistani, about one metre tall with brown eyes, brown hair and a thin build.
She was last seen wearing aqua blue track pants, a pink long sleeved T-shirt with an aqua blue jacket with a fluffy hood.
Police say both girls went to a Kaitemako Road address in Welcome Bay at about 7pm on June 28 and asked the occupant if they could stay, but left the address soon afterwards.
Police say the caregiver of the girls saw them in the kitchen of their home making sandwiches before going to the Kaitemako Road address.
The girls did not attend school yesterday, June 29. Police want to hear from anybody who has seen these girls or knows of their whereabouts. Contact Tauranga police, phone 577 4300.
