A vehicle hit a street lamp post in Hairini on Saturday night.
Police received a report at 11.30pm that a car had crashed into street lamp on Wickham Place.
There were no reports of injuries.
A resident nearby reported that the car that crashed seemed to have left the scene immediately following the incident.

When are they going to start charging these poles, trees. baracades etc that keep jumping out onto the road.
