Kia ora and welcome to Saturday.

It was a chilly night, but the day ahead looks to be fine with light winds after a spot of morning cloud.

It's a three clothing layer day, with an expected high of 15 degrees and an overnight low of 5 degrees.

On Sunday June 30, we're expecting another fine day with light winds.

Katikati's first Festival of Cultures will be taking place today from 10am – 2pm. There will be a parade down the main street followed by performances and food stalls which reflect the rich ethnic diversity of Katikati.
