One lane of State Highway 29 is blocked this morning.
The NZTA says a truck has broken down, blocking the eastbound passing lane of the highway.
The blockage is located about 1km from the bottom of the Kaimai Range.
"Take extra care when passing the scene."
The NZTA says there are no alternative routes available.
