Emergency services were called to meet flight NZ8265 from Tauranga to Wellington this morning.
A spokesperson from Air New Zealand says they requested emergency services as a precaution after an e-vapour belonging to a customer was accidently switched on in flight.
'Cabin crew followed standard operating procedure.
'The device was immediately put out.”
