Tegel is recalling its pre-cooked chicken products due to the items being undercooked.
The products affected include Tegel Foods chicken chargrilled steak 800g, Tegel Foods chargrill flame-grilled chicken steak 1kg, Tegel Foods original crumbed chicken breast schnitzel 1kg, Tegel Foods ‘Take Outs' flame-grilled original chicken steaks 600g.
Tegel Foods ‘Take Outs' flame-grilled Thai original chicken steaks 600g and Tegel Foods ‘Take Outs' golden crumbed schnitzel 800g.
The recall is listed on Consumer.org.nz and states that products with a five digit lot identifier number starting with the number ‘2' are being recalled.
These items were sold in supermarkets throughout New Zealand from January 1, 2012.
People are being advised not to consume the products and to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

must be a mistake, it says they were on sale since 1st January? That would explain the chronic sickness and craps I had. thanks Tegal
