Mount Maunganui's Mike Delany is preparing for his test debut for the All Blacks in the squad's next match against Italy on Sunday.
The 27 year old will wear the number 10 jersey as a raft of changes are made to the All Blacks squad.

Steamers first five Mike Delany is expected to make his All Blacks debut this Sunday.

Mike was a bench player for the Chiefs in this year's Super 14 and he did not make any national age grade teams. But he was a competition leading first five during the Air New Zealand Cup for Bay of Plenty Steamers and has earned this opportunity for that effort.
Also expected to make test debuts are Wellington centre Tamati Ellison and Otago winger Ben Smith.
