A man has been arrested after an altercation at Work and Income in Thames today.
The officers were in lockdown earlier following an altercation between the alleged offender and staff.
A police spokesperson says police were called to the premises around 11.30am.
Police say a 46-year-old man was arguing with staff when police were called.
Waikato Senior Sergeant Simon Cherry says the man was arrested for disorderly behaviour and wilful damage.
