Car hits mobility scooter in Gate Pa

A car has crashed into a mobility scooter on Cameron Road in Gate Pa.

A police spokesperson says, 'Police received information from ambulance around 11:45am, that a car had collided with a mobility scooter.”

'It appears one person, who was on the scooter, was taken to hospital to be checked over, they reportedly were status 4, minor injuries.

'Police were speaking with the driver.”

A caller to SunLive says the crash has happened outside Gate Pa School.

'Cars are being diverted and ambulance is there.”

They say they couldn't see very much so they're unsure how bad it is.
