Police have received a report that there may have been an injured person in a property in Papamoa this evening.

The person is thought to have been injured at or near a property in Dickson Rd between Longview Drive and Grant Place.

Police received the report at around 6.30pm.

Sunlive readers are reporting that Dickson Rd has been blocked by Police and that an ambulance is also present.

"Police are in attendance but at this stage are yet to locate anything of concern," says a Police spokesperson.
