Former Prime Minister and current ANZ Chair, Rt Hon Sir John Key, is to attend an exclusive dinner event in Tauranga next month.
Sir John will be interviewed on stage by broadcaster, Peter Williams, covering topics such as the economy, local business, election year, leadership and much more.
Guests will also have the opportunity to ask their own questions and chat to Key about local and national issues.
The function will be a new and unique fine-dining experience for Tauranga, featuring a 6-course degustation menu, matching beverages and 5-star service.
Held centrally in the Tauranga CBD, the dinner will take place on Tuesday, March 3, with the venue details given to registered guests.
Sir John Key served as New Zealand's 38th Prime Minister, from 2008 to 2016. Prior to that he was head of foreign exchange at Merrill Lynch, based in London.
As a child, Key grew up in Christchurch, living with his mother and two sisters in state housing.
After attending University of Canterbury, he went on to work as an auditor then project manager, before beginning his career in foreign exchange in Wellington.
Limited to only 100 people, ‘Dinner with Sir John Key' will host Tauranga's and Bay of Plenty's leading business figures and dignitaries in a night of connection and insight.
John says he's looking forward to getting back to Tauranga and discussing a range of topics with guests.
'It will be a great night to chat with Peter about a variety of subjects, and to see what's on the minds locally and nationally from people in Tauranga."
For guests who are not yet registered for the event, they can do so by visiting www.eventsinnovated.com and applying, although organisers say availability is extremely limited.
