Police investigating Tauranga dairy theft

Police are investigating a theft from a Tauranga dairy over the weekend.

Officers were called to the Kings Dairy on Willow Street on Sunday afternoon.

A police spokesperson says they received a report of someone stealing several items from the dairy.

They received the call around 3.15pm.

"Police are following up."

Anyone with information relevant to the theft can contact Tauranga Police Station on 07 577 4300.

Alternatively, information can be left anonymously via the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111 line.

Non-emergency information can be phoned into the police's 105 number.
