This Saturday all 14 teams in the Seeka Western Bay of Plenty Rugby competition will chase maximum points as the finals of Baywide representation close in.

Rangiuru has again given up home field rights and will travel to Te Ariki Park in what could be the game of the round.

Rangataua will be out to prove their one point win against Greerton was no fluke. Rangiuru will be equally determined to prove their victory over Judea last week was a turning point for their season.

Judea should prove no trouble for Katikati. The visitors to Mahairaia Winiata Park will be looking for maximum points as the final draws closer by the week.

Tauranga Sports travel to Paengaroa to take on Eastern Districts at home and will have a much stronger challenge on their hands than last week's 109 to zero victory over Arataki Red.

Tauranga Sports now with the jump on Mount Maunganui on the points table will have to work hard to bag another five points this week.

Te Puke is at home to Te Puna while Arataki Red is at home to neighbours Mount Maunganui.

Matakana Island will travel to Greerton Park and will be well rested after missing out on a game last week.

They won't have things all their own way with the improving Greerton side and can expect a big crowd to be watching the curtain raise to The Greerton Premier sides clash with Rotoiti.

Papamoa will host top of the table Arataki Black at Gordon Spratt Reserve.

Papamoa at home are always strong and could cause an upset if they get a full squad to the game. Arataki Black will put the Hardy Rose Bowl up for grabs and it will be a sort after prize for the Papamoa side that has had some very close losses this year.
