Gull cuts petrol prices by 5c

Gull is cutting its fuel prices by 5c a litre today as part of a discount day ahead of Queens Birthday Weekend.

The discount, which started at 7am today, will apply to all grades of fuel at the service stations around the country including Merivale, Whakamarama and Mount Maunganui.

Gull retail manager Graham Stirk says the holiday weekend is a good time for motorists to get out and about.

Fuel prices at other outlets are currently sitting around $2.15 for 91 unleaded and around $2.26 for premium.

The price drop will run until 10am on Friday.

I drove past the Merivale Gull self service station today and glimpsed the $2.05L price. I did not know this was only until 10am Friday. Thankyou for letting me know. I will have to fill up early Friday.

They can do more than Gull, but choose not to so as to make more profits from everyone. Good on you Gull.
