UPDATE 8.27AM: No major injuries are being reported following a crash in Takitimu Drive this morning.

Emergency services were called to the single vehicle crash, near the Elizabeth Street roundabout just before 8am.

A police spokesperson says there were no reported injuires or blockages as a result of the crash.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says the vehicle had spun out and hit a fence.

They say it was in the lane heading towards Bethlehem and the vehicle was up on the grass, so traffic was not affected.

Reports are coming in of a car that has spun out on Takitimu Drive.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says it looks like one vehicle is involved in the crash.

"It looks like it has just happened.

"It has spun out and hit a fence on Taikitimu Drive, near the Elizabeth Street roundabout.

"It's in the lane the heads towards Bethlehem. It is up on the grass and traffic is fine now, but there may be delays when they go to remove the vehicle."
