There are multiple reports of Jesus being sighted north of Bethlehem, ahead of Easter.

The latest sighting of Jesus was at midday today in the Te Puna estuary, says local Jesus spotter, Frank Incense.

Jesus didn't want to appear on camera.

When approached for comment, he was a bit cross.

'We're making a movie,” Jesus told a bystander.

There was no sign of Joseph or Mary.

SunLive has sent a reporter to the scene to investigate the sighting.
