Serious motorbike crash on Cambridge Road

UPDATED 9.20am: One person has serious injuries after a motorbike and car crashed on Cambridge Road this morning.

Police were called to the crash near the intersection of Cambridge Road and State Highway 29 around 8.30am, says a police spokesperson.

One person has serious injuries and Cambridge Road is done to one lane, they say.

'Serious Crash have been advised.”

EARLIER: A serious motorbike crash is being reported on Cambridge Road this morning.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a motorbike and car have crashed on Cambridge Road, near the State Highway 29 intersection.

"It looks pretty serious.

"Firefighters are at the scene."

Another caller says there will be delays in the area.

"Traffic is already backed up. It was a motorbike and ute.

"An ambulance arrived at 8.35am. I stopped to help and one person was definitely injured."

People are advised to expect delays in the area.
