With tomorrow being a much anticipated holiday for most people, Tauranga City Council is advising the community on changes to its waste collection service.
"If you’re making plans, please know that there are changes to waste collections on Good Friday," says a Tauranga City Council spokesperson.
"All kerbside collections for Friday, April 2, (rubbish, recycling, glass, and garden waste), will take place on Saturday, April 3, instead.
"The transfer stations will also be closed.
"There are no changes for collections on Easter Monday."
Good Friday, April 2
• Collections will be done on Saturday, April 3, - this applies to Bellevue, Bethlehem north, Brookfield, Bureta, Judea north, Otumoetai and Matua
• Transfer stations are closed for the day
Easter Monday, April 5
• No change to collections
• Transfer stations open 9am – 5pm
