Good and bad drivers exist, whatever race, creed or sex.
Some drivers are so astonishingly stupid they deserve to be identified.
Wednesday December 3, 2008, 3.30pm on a hot and sweaty afternoon, I was in my car, crawling along Hewletts Road toward the harbour bridge. The traffic was flowing fractionally faster in the lane to my left when I noticed this maroon coloured Mitsi Gallant ease past me.
The youngish blonde lady driving (at about 10km/h) was looking down and texting while she tail-gated a large truck.
She then threw the phone onto the passenger seat, under one of the toddlers, reached for a newspaper and after spreading it across the steering wheel and dashboard, began reading while still driving forward.
I lost sight after that, but I did have time to note the rego.
I live in hope that the other parent of those toddlers reads this and kicks your bum!
