Reports are coming in of a three car crash near Te Puke.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says there is a crash on Te Puke Highway, also known as Pacific Coast Highway, between Rangiuru and Pah roads.

"Police are at the scene and traffic is backed up.

"People should expect delays."

A police spokesperson says police were notified of what appears to be a three-vehicle collision on the Te Puke Highway at 6.22pm

"One person appears to have moderate injuries and three people have minor injuries."
