Hutt Valley's Joseph Zino has beaten Waihi's Kevin Boothby to win the 63rd Lion Foundation National Indoor Bowls singles championships at the Southland Indoor Bowls Centre.
In Monday's final, he defeated Kevin Boothby from the Waihi Beach Club, Thames Valley 14-4.
It was Zino's second national title to go with the fours he won in 2009.
In the semifinals, Zino defeated Ashley Diamond of Canterbury 9-8, while Boothby defeated Roger Bartosh from the Mount Maunganui Club, Tauranga 12-7.
