International acts head to NZ for One Love 2022

Twelve international acts are part of the line-up for the country's biggest reggae festival, One Love.

International acts at One Love 2022 include Hawaiian reggae artists Rebel Souljahz, R&B/reggae singer J Boog, reggae veterans The Original Wailers and soul sensation LaTasha Lee.

Some of the aotearoa artists joining the two day festival are Nesian Mystik, Sammy J, House of Shem, Ardijah and Che Fu.

One Love will take place Tauranga Domain on January 29 and 30, 2022.

Every Summer it brings 20,000 people to the domain and 10,000 tickets have sold already.

The festival is under new ownership, Reggae Love Ltd, led by Tauranga's Glenn Meikle.

'My team and I are deeply passionate about the One Love movement,” says Glenn.

'It's kaupapa, the music, our audiences, as well as the huge value the event brings to the Tauranga region, and its important role in maintaining the high profile of New Zealand reggae and roots music across the world,” he says.

'One Love is an iconic and beloved event in our home town – one of the best reggae festivals in the world, in the reggae and roots capital of Aotearoa – and we're looking forward to welcoming this huge line up of artists in January.”
