Lotto player scores $1 million win

An Auckland Lotto player has scored a $1 million win with Lotto First Division in last night's live Lotto draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Xpress Mart in Auckland.

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million.

Strike Four has also rolled over last night and will be $1 million on Wednesday night, meaning it will be a Must Be Won draw. In a Strike Must Be Won draw, if no single ticket wins First Division, the prize pool is added to the next highest division with a winner.

Thirteen lucky Lotto players will be celebrating today after each winning $21,213 with Lotto Second Division in last night's live Lotto draw.

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $38,697. The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Take Note Dinsdale in Hamilton.

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at Supervalue Kumeu - Auckland, Pak N Save Wairau Road - Auckland, Dominion Superette - Auckland, Drury Lane Lotto Superette - Auckland, MyLotto - Auckland, Take Note Dinsdale (PB) - Hamilton, Four Square Ruatoria - Ruatoria, John's Superette & Lotto - Tolaga Bay, Four Square Mahora - Hastings, MyLotto - Wellington, Pak N Save Richmond - Nelson, Countdown New Brighton - Christchurch, and MyLotto - Canterbury.
