Emergency services are responding to a serious crash in Katikati.

A police spokesperson says they were notified of a vehicle-collision involving a car and motorbike on Park Road at 12.50pm.

"Initial indications suggest one person is seriously injured.

"A rescue helicopter has been dispatched."
