New locations of interest announced on Sunday afternoon include three shops in Greerton Village, a supermarket in Fraser Cove, the Four Square in Te Puna, and three more Mount Maunganui locations.
Le Chat Noir, Baker Bobs Bakery Cafe and the Greerton Red Cross Shop have been added to the growing list of locations of interest, along with Tauranga Hospital.
Also on the list is Four Square, Te Puna and Countdown Fraser Cove.
At Mount Maunganui, The Coffee Club on Marine Parade, Freddy's Coffee Cart on the corner of Sandhurst and Gloucester Streets, and Mount Mellick Bar have all been added to the list of locations at Mount Maunganui.
For some of the locations the Ministry of Health advises that anyone there at the same time as the positive Covid-19 cases needs to self-isolate, test immediately and test again on day 5 after being exposed at this location of interest. Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health. Record your visit online or call Healthline so our contact tracers can get in touch.
For other locations, the advice is to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for ten days after being exposed at the location of interest. If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result and until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.
Contacts who attended one of the locations in during the relevant times are asked to follow the directions.
It's very important that people to continue to use the COVID Tracer App throughout New Zealand. Notifications are sent through NZ COVID Tracer to people who have scanned in to locations of interest wherever possible. If you test positive, you can also share your digital diary with contact tracers. This speeds up the contact tracing process.
