The Ministry of Health will continue to run its walk-in Covid-19 vaccination centre at Whānau Āwhina Plunket clinic in Tauranga.
From November 29 to December 14, 2021, people 12 years and over can visit Whānau Āwhina Plunket's clinic at 471 Devonport Rd, Tauranga, every Monday and Tuesday between 9.30am - 4pm to receive their first or second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
Whānau Āwhina Plunket Regional Operations Manager for the Central Region, Viv Edwards, says it's a great opportunity for everyone living in and around Tauranga to do their part in the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination effort.
'We invite everyone in the community to make the most of this chance.
'We know that our whānau want to give their pēpi and tamariki the best possible start in life, and this is one way of doing that as it helps protect their health and wellbeing during such an uncertain time.”
