Anyone who attended a screening of the new Spiderman movie at a Rotorua theatre last Saturday is being considered a close contact of a Covid-19 case and has been told to self-isolate.
The location of interest is just one of several across the Bay of Plenty to be added to the Ministry of Health list on Christmas Eve - including another two locations considered close contact risks.
Anyone who was at the Reading Cinema on Eruera Street, Rotorua on Saturday, December 18 from 5.45pm and 10pm are advised to self-isolate, test immediately and on day five after you were exposed at this location of interest. Further isolation and testing requirements will be provided by Public Health.

The same advice applies to anyone who was at the Flying Mullet Papamoa on Tuesday, December 14 from 4.01pm and 5.30pm and Pap House Restaurant and Bar Papamoa on Wednesday, December 15 from 4.03pm and 5.30pm.

Anyone at the locations above should self-monitor for Covid-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed.
If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result.
